Common Things Heard in My House

"Mo-om..... where's my helmet?"

"Hey mom.... can you wash my jersey tonight so I can wear it to school tomorrow?" (this one most often comes at 10:00 at night!)

"Honey, don't forget to make my coffee before you go to bed please!"

"Mom, are the dishes clean?" (apparently it can be too difficult to look in the dishwasher and see for himself)

"I don't have anything to wear!" (this one comes from all three of them.... you would think I wasn't the only girl in this household sometimes!)

"Can I just have cereal for dinner?"

"Just five more minutes! Pleeeeaaaasssseee?"

"Hey!! I was watching that!"

"Ewww! Not THAT for dinner again!" **that can refer to anything that they don't particularly want to eat that night**

"Hey, Mom.... can I have____ ?" (just fill in the blank with just about anything... they aren't really picky about what they ask for *sigh*)

And while its *ahem* nice *ahem* to feel so needed, sometimes all I really want is a night with silence.

Unless, of course, I hear my favorite comment... especially if its not immediately followed by one of the above statements.....

"Mom.... I love you!"

As a teen I use to do the Hey Mom can you wash this *insert article of clothing* at 10pm, too. My mom would sigh, give me an ugly look then wash it for me. What would we do without our Mom's.

Nice blog!
