Walt Disney Would Be So Proud

This is what I (well, not me specifically, but my little corner of the World Wide Web here) was rated a few days ago.

However, after this post, I am now rated the following:

And all because apparently I used the word "drugs" twice and S-E-X once.

I don't know if I should be doing the Happy Dance or hiding in shame that I'm so non-adult. I mean, when did I become a respectable grown up?

Was it when I got married? I don't think so, as that exact same institution hasn't seemed to affect Coach.

Was it when I had kids? Again, as that occurrence hasn't affected Coach, I'm not sure what to think.

Don't misunderstand, its great that I'm kid-friendly. At least, I guess its great. We'll never really know for sure, though, as my boys are too embarrassed by the fact that I write about them and have given them goofy names to ever tell their friends that I have this blog. In fact, it's Bug's greatest fear at the moment that one of his friends' parents will somehow find out about it, and discover what a really funny kid he is.

Although that hasn't stopped him from asking, every time he does or says something that makes me laugh

So, mom.... you gonna blog about that?

I'm pretty sure that if Hollywood used that same rating system, every movie would be XXX.

My husband does the same thing as Bug. He frets over me writing about him but he's been known to grin proudly at me after doing something to make me insane then ask, "Is that making the blog?"

My blog is SO not kid friendly. Or elderly church lady friendly for that matter. Especially todays post. lol

My blog was rated R. I think the divine cock post put me over the edge ;)

Well, I guess it comes in handy to be kid friendly if you're a mom!

I'm rated NC-17, but that is only because there isn't an UR category.

LOL!

Oh what fun! My boy loves to look for pictures of himself on my blog, so I'm going to have to post pictures of his cat now. Don't ask.

I'm PG, too! It's not a bad thing. Honest. It's okay. You're ding a fine job.

Burgh, aren't our men (both big and little) too funny? All three of mine are like that!

Cece, after reading your post today, I'd have to agree with you! :)

Lunanik, I remember that one! Yep, that must be it!

Shellie, that is probably the only thought saving me from total shame! :)

Sue, that's a pretty mild rating for some of your posts! ;)

Flea, you know I'm gonna ask about the cat thing now. Just cuz you told me not to.

Sex and drugs? Oh my! Heaven forbid that we talk to our children about sex and drugs!

I think you blog should be rated F for Fabulous!

Amy, you are too kind! :) But coming from you, that is an awesome compliment!

I rate you G for Great. I'm sure that's what it means. Those things have the ability to either make or break my day, so I'm glad I'm not the only weird one that obsesses over what it all means.

I think to non-bloggers (or the family of a blogger) they all have the love-hate thing going on with our internet affair. They live in dread that they'll be exposed as something they're trying to hide, while at the same time trying to do things just to be blogged about.

Oh. My boy's cat, Lou, is the ongoing source of frustration for my Hunny. I post about him here:

And here:

My boy LOVES his cat. And will want to see him on the blog soon.
