Got A Question For Ya

Ok. So I've been browsing some of my favorite blogs lately (and by "lately" you realize I don't necessarily mean the last few days. Its more like an accumulation of lots of days that I'm lumping together, because I'm sorta lazy like that.). I've even found a few spare minutes to browse some newer, not-quite-yet-on-my-favorites-list blogs. Seems there's been a trend around the blogosphere that I either missed or unconsciously decided not to jump on. Honestly? Who decided that you had to list 100 facts about yourself for your 100th post? Was it made mandatory? Have I broken some apparently much recognized by everyone but myself blogger law? 'Cuz I'm now at 155 (I think? Give or take a couple.) posts, and not once did I think about doing that.

And answer me honestly here, folks.... would any of you even be interested in knowing 100 things about me?

Do you think I'm more interesting when you've made up random facts about me in your head? (Yes, I know this is going on the assumption that you all think about me AT ALL when you read this here blog. Um..... have I yet mentioned that its commonly believed that I'm somewhat of a narcissist? No? Well then, maybe its just me.) What if you were to learn something about me that just shattered any and all pleasant illusions you may hold about me? Would you all survive the disappointment? Would I survive being the cause of the potential disillusionment? (Because yes, it IS all about me. Remember?)

So anyway, let me know. I suppose if enough of you want to know (and perhaps include an inducement cleverly disguised as something chocolaty?) I might be persuaded to try to find 100 things about myself that I can share.

Or it could totally go the other direction, and I'd listen when you're all begging me NOT to share anymore than I have. (Remember the whole lack of frequent shaving thing? No? Ok then. Pretend I didn't just mention it again.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now, I will leave you with a rare, random political thought:
Ultimately, you need to vote your conscience and your heart, and hope that your values end up in office. If they don't, then you just need to decide how much you're willing to put up with before you move to France.
:) Love your ending quote. Hate the 100 things posts in general. Not that you're not fascinating and all, but ... I've tagged you. Ha! And it's a list of things about you. But only six - not 100.
I did my 100 things post for one of my very first posts when I started blogging. It was a pain and there are things that I wish I had included that I didn't
I agree with your parting quote. Actually, voting your conscience is the excuse that my grandfather always used to give for voting for Perot in that one election. I can't imagine what his conscience was saying to him to get him to vote that way but whatever! ;)
I think I'd go to Canada before FRance although I'm not positive on that one!
I did the 100 on my 100th. I think you should. And, leave the link. I still have people who read it.
And, what do you do when you're down to the final three & all three make you want to run to the Caymans? (I don't like the French)
hi, howdy, nice to meet ya. I found ya from flea hoppin. And I'll be back. I'd like short list, can't pay attention to 100 of anything, unless it's chocolate covered.
I didn't do the 100 things.
See, this is why I tagged you today. To distract you so you don't post 100 things about yourself. I'm really saving you from yourself! That, and I want to know what kind of tree you'd be. :D
I've read some interesting ones, but I declined to do that myself. Actually, I totally missed whenever I hit the 100 mark! And to be honest, I don't think I could come up with enough things to share about myself that would keep everyone entertained enough to read thru the entire list!
If you feel like tackling the new challenge out there - do it! If not, I'm sure everyone will keep reading whatever it is you have to share anyway! :)
I knew about the 100 things for the 100th post, but I didn't do it. I did the FAQ provided by my readers instead.
For the record, FAQ for the 100th is the newest and greatest thing started by yours truly. I'm a trend setter like that.
Yes!
I love reading lists of author traits. Great fun.
Everybody's interesting when they reduce their lives to 100-Things!
I hope you'll do it.
BTW, I'm keeping your blog open in my Windows for the kick-ass soundtrack.
NEver did the 100 thing myself and I'm on post 245+. And you know how I feel about these damn meme things anyway!!
100 things is A LOT of reading!
Hallie :)
But since it's you, I'd read them all!!
I admit, I did it. But I had my readers finish it for me. It was hard for me to come up with things that aren't totally boring and annoying by about 34...
I for one would read and love your 100 things. But that's just me...
I did the 100 list when I began blogging, almost 2 years ago, but not for my 100th.
I can't imagine trying to think of 100 things, let alone expect other people to find them interesting.
Which is not to say that I wouldn't think yours would be interesting! I'm sure they would be!
I'm just not ambitious enough to do this myself.
Like that quote and I skipped the 100 post, I figure by the time all
s said and done a lot more than 100 randoms facts will come to light anyways, right?
