Positive experiences and outlooks don't just happen; they're created. That silver lining everyone always tells you to look for? Yeah, you actually have to look. I know, right? Novel concept. Think about it. All of life's platitudes and motivations actually tell you to DO something.

My point in all of these? How you choose to face and live your life is up to you. But always remember that facing and living life? Those require action on your part. Constant action. Even if that action is simply altering the way you're looking at your current situation.

I love quotes like that - I have them hung in my house at random places for the kids. So inspiring. So motivational. So encouraging.
I'm saving this post on my favorites. I needed to read this today in such a major way--I couldn't possibly explain it to you.
Thanks for posting. You rock!
Wow. I love inspirational quotes but I never realised that EVERY one is about an action. Can I publish this as a Facebook note to share with my friends? I'll put "by you" at the end of course. What should I write for "you"?
Disregard that, I went the simple way and shared the link :)
Would you PLEASE quit making sense and forcing me to be accountable, Sports Mama? :)
Kidding. After 45 years of living I am finally realizing that my life will only be what I make it. I cannot depend on other people to create my happiness. I also realize that I cannot let them dictate what my happiness should be.
