Scratch That

I had an entirely different post started here. In fact, I've spent the last 45 minutes on it trying to put into words everything I'm feeling. But, it struck me as too much self-pity to dump on the internet. Besides, its a familiar issue to me, and I know that while eventually it will come back to plague me again, I'll be able to push it back into the dark corners of my mind soon enough to not obsess over it.

So, I decided to scratch it. I'm starting over.

Sadly, I don't think I have much to say. I'm in another one of those valleys I've warned you all about. However, since I want you all to keep coming back I'm trying to avoid the whole pity party thing. If it starts to look like I'm wandering over to the dark side, and you just don't feel like wading through it all with me, please feel free to take a break and go visit some of the awesome people on my sidebar, my MVB's. Or take a tour through the Visiting Teams.

Just be sure to come back to me, ok? I know I'll be back to sunshine and rainbow posting soon enough.

On a different note, I gotta tell you that there is nothing quite like a nine year old boy with a severe case of the giggles at bedtime to make you feel calm and at peace inside. God absolutely knew what He was doing when He gifted me with that little boy.

I love the MVBs. And thank heaven for giggle fits. They're balm to any soul.

Y'know, it doesn't always have to be all sunshine and rainbows. Just sayin'.

Girl!! Seriously. Quit with the sunshine and rainbows and let it out. Hell, I've griped and whined enough on my blog for everyone, but I think I'm in a better place for it. And I'm telling you...there are some awesome bloggy friends out there ready to get you through it...if you'll let us. xoxo

I think it's good to have a sunshine and rainbows place. I recently read or heard a psychologist or doctor (the details are really fuzzy, but stick with me) say that venting DOES not help you get over something. It only forces you to focus on it longer.

Even so, we all need to vent. If you need a safe place to write it all down, feel free to email me. I promise to not offer any advise (unless you ask). I will just listen.

I say...It's my blog and I'll whine if I want to! That's the beauty of a blog! You can type whatever the hell you want! I've hosted a number of pity parties ....=)

God also knew exactly what he was doing when he gave us you as our blogger friend.

Stay in that valley if you must but not forever. Or I'll come looking for you. Which won't be good. Cuz if you're hard to find, I mught have to camp out. And I hate camping out. My idea of roughing it is a 3 star hotel.

So make your way out on your own soon or send up some kick ass flares so I can find you quickly.

If not, I'm gonna find you and kick your ass!

You do NOT want Hallie after you, ESPECIALLY if she reaches Arizona, experiences your wonderful weather and decides to stay. She'll never leave. :D

Hallie, how is that threat a deterrent? It would get you here, which-- as luck would have it-- is exactly where I'm at! ;)

And have I told you all lately that you absolutely, completely, without a single doubt.... ROCK!!!

Giggles always help. So does a fierce game of tag. (Up until all the running and laughing make Mommy pee her pants a little. Did that make you laugh?)

Vent here, please. You have a captive audience. Hope you feel better.

I don't think you have to worry about your readers leaving you, hun! You're a fabulous writer with amazing readers that will read and comment on even the darkest of posts. It's your blog - so do what you want, missy :)
