Yes. Yes it is.
Do you look forward to your weekend because you get to do things like sleep in? Hang out in your pj's all day long? Not shower for a couple of days? (Ok, so its a toss up as to whether that's a good thing or not!) Go out with friends, or your Significant Other? Or, in the realm of Blogland... go Blog Hopping?
Yeah. I'd like to look forward to those things, too. Well, I think I'd still shower every day, although I might wait until afternoon to do it. ('Cuz I'm a rebel like that, you know.) However, in my world, weekends are just about busier than weekdays.
Take tomorrow, for instance. We've got a baseball game at 8:30 AM, another one at 11:00 AM, my nieces have a soccer game (*sidenote.... how cute is it to watch 6 year olds running around for an hour looking like they have no clue?) at 1:00 PM, and then I have a tentative Little League meeting at 5:00 PM. So I will be leaving my house at about 7:30 AM, and not returning until somewhere in the vicinity of 7:30 PM. That means I've got to get up and moving by 6:30 tomorrow morning. And I'm pretty sure that's against some law somewhere.
Sunday might be ok. After all, I'll just be spending the entire day doing grocery shopping and laundry. Although if you've read me for any amount of time now, you have an inkling of just how stinkin' long laundry takes me in my house.
And, since I don't have much to offer in the way of brilliance today, and realistically? I won't be around this weekend, I'm leaving you with some of my early favorites. If you're new, please... stay a while and get to know me. If you've been here so long you've got your own spot on the sofa, kick back and reminisce with me.

Have a great weekend, everyone! If you haven't heard from me by Tuesday, send a rescue party with some chocolate to Arizona, will you?
