Words of Wisdom....Wish They Were Mine

Sadly, I don't have a lot of originality flowing through my fingertips today. My kids have been relatively un-amusing. Coach has been pretty normal. Not much out of the ordinary has happened lately that I haven't already talked about.

I've found myself thinking quite a bit lately about life, and what makes it important. Between the recent sports drama, and the heartache over D, I've just flat out been thinking a lot. Period. And I've found that when I think, I tend to turn to quotes from others that resonate with something in my soul. Since so many of you also resonate with my soul, I'm going to share some of my favorites with you. I hope you they touch you in some way, the way they have touched me. If not..... *shrug* oh well. :)

Laughter is the closest thing to the grace of God. ~Karl Barth

If you can’t accept losing, you can’t win. ~Vince Lombardi

Life isn't a matter of milestones, but moments. ~Rose Kennedy

The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet. ~James Oppenheim

If I won't be myself, who will? ~Alfred Hitchcock

Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been. ~Mark Twain

My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it. -Mark Twain

It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are. -E.E. Cummings

and finally.....

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. -Robin Williams

I hope Alexis feels that way some day. Only, there should be no "think" about it. I want her to KNOW it.

Great quotes all the way through.
