Things to remember to blog about this week.....
......First ever blown tire on the freeway! Yay, what fun!
......The latest exercise craze to sweep my house: Dancing with the vacuum. Or it could alternately be titled: How to Both Embarrass Your Children AND Get Them To Join In The Housework Fun!
......Strange and mysterious injuries that befall Bug, and questions on WHY he never notices them until the stupid foot is swollen and purple. Also? Why that doesn't seem to hurt him or slow him down.
......Shaving my legs: It's probably a good idea to do that a bit more often. Saves razor blades that way.
......More things to be thankful I'm raising boys for: Athletic supporters and protective cups laying on the bathroom counter. Or soaking in the bathroom sink. And why I should remember to never actually ask about either of those occurrences.
......High School Baseball: The Fashion Show. Where cleats need to be white, to match the uniforms, and apparently the baseline is the new catwalk. (And if anyone can clue me in as to where I might find such a seemingly elusive item, at a price that doesn't include selling an organ on the black market, I would be ever-so-grateful.)
For now, my thigh muscles are apparently still protesting the sheer amount of vacuum dancing that was done yesterday. A fact which I am heartily disappointed in them for, as they seemed to be having a grand 'ole time while the 80's music was blaring and the boys and I were all singing along while we rocked out.
Stupid thigh muscles. I'm having a long talk with them tonight, let me tell you. I guess I need to remind them that the more painfully they protest, the less likely I am to indulge in the vacuum dance again.

awesome vacuum dancing.
it's way better than mop dancing.
dang i wish i had more carpet. instead of all tile . UGH
love the athletic supporter stuff. we aren't there yet. and i'm glad.
bummer on bugs injury. and him not noticing it. it's better than a hypochondriac. i'd way rather have your problem than mine. maybe that just comes with girls? whining over nothing?
consider yourself lucky on the boy thing. with high pain tolerance.
Oh what fun! But I'm not jealous of any kind of vacuuming. :)
My oldest boy has the same problem with mysterious injuries which don't slow him down, usually skateboard related.
OxyClean does a fantastic job making dingy things white. Just mix up a small concentrate with very hot water, show the boys how to do it (that's key), and let them scrub!
My thigh muscles are not happy with me either. Unfotuntaly its because of EFFING SHOVELING 16.5" of snow!!

Hmmm...too bad this is a family blog, I could discuss other types of dancing that can make your thighs scream. :)Tee-hee-hee!
Want to leave an an awesome comment, but have to tinkle and it's midnight, so will catch you later!
Hey...checkin' in. How's everything?
hmmm... perhaps there's a connection between my flabby thighs and my dusty floor...
That or maybe we're in week 2 of basement reconstruction and I'm just a tad overweight...
